With some help from Sarah Silverman, Hannah Hart has put a twist on her My Drunk Kitchen series. She invited the comedienne onto her program for a special episode that replaces Hart’s typical binge drinking with a few hits of weed.
In the episode, Hart and Silverman make vegetarian pot pie, which tips viewers off about the smoky twist from the start. Silverman explains that she doesn’t enjoy the taste of alcohol, so she instead produces a joint and sets off the first ever episode of what could be called My High Kitchen. Ultimately, the video resembles a typical My Drunk Kitchen episode, except Hart snacks on more of the ingredients and focuses a little more clearly on the task at hand. “Oh my god,” she exclaims upon tasting the pot pie, “this is like real food!”

Hart hopes the video generates discussion among her fans.” Obviously this video may SPARK some debate… which I encourage!” she writes in the video’s description. “Also everything we put into our bodies (from alcohol to aspirin) should be used in moderation.”
Silverman isn’t the first celebrity to find her way to My Drunk Kitchen. Previously, Hart teamed up with Weeds star Mary Louise Parker to bake, drink, and raise money for the Hope North charity. Silverman’s visit to Hart’s channel has more of a promotional bent to it: The JASH co-founder recently released Rubberhead, a comedy special she hosted, via Vimeo On Demand.
