PBS Digital Studios hopes to correct some of your incorrect behaviors, even if they are seemingly insignificant. The network partnered with production house Kids at Play to develop the life-hacking, educational series You’re Doing it Wrong.
The 20-episodes of the You’re Doing it Wrong series will be hosted by comedians and brothers Randy and Jason Sklar. The duo will use facts, history, and humor to explain how everyday situations, such as peeling a hard-boiled egg or applying sunscreen, can often be improved or done more efficiently in a different manner. Kids at Play’s Head of Development, Mark Marraccini, originally came up with the idea for You’re Doing It Wrong when someone told him he shouldn’t sweep up broken glass, but should instead use a piece of bread to snatch up the last tiny pieces.
The Sklar Brothers will write the show alongside Peter Degler and Dan Van Kirk. The Sklars will also serve as executive producers alongside Kids at Play’s Marraccini, Jason Berger, and Amy Laslett. Matt Vree will executive produce for PBS Digital Studios.

“We’re excited to add this informative and fun series with the Sklar Brothers to the PBS Digital Studios network,” said Don Wilcox, Vice President of PBS Digital Marketing and Services, in a release. “Viewers will be highly entertained while learning how they’ve spent years doing common tasks entirely wrong.”
“We love working with Kids at Play, so when they approached us with this concept it was a no brainer,” said the Sklar brothers. “We’re happy that PBS Digital Studios likes the idea as much as we do, and we look forward to partnering with them to make it. When you’re done watching You’re Doing it Wrong, you will have more knowledge than when you started, which, very few shows besides The Vanderpump Rules on Bravo can make that claim.”
No release date has been announced for You’re Doing It Wrong as of yet. However, PBS notes the series should be available sometime in the early summer of 2015.
