TCG launched in 2010 and counts as its co-founders Peter Chernin, Jesse Jacobs, and Mike Kerns. The firm focuses on multi-stage investments in the media and technology spaces, and has invested in the likes of Food52, Crunchyroll, Exploding Kittens, Rooster Teeth, Fullscreen, Barstool Sports, Cameo, Headspace, and Hello Sunshine.

It most recently led a $40 million funding round for Goldin Auctions — an online marketplace for trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other collectibles.

“If you’re a fast-growing consumer business looking for capital to take you to the next level, please reach out,” Stern shared in a LinkedIn post announcing her appointment. “I’m especially interested in creator-centered businesses, education technology, and media and consumer brands focused on women.”
