Here Is Your Yearly Reminder That You Can Find Super Bowl Ads On YouTube’s AdBlitz Channel

Ahead of Super Bowl LII, YouTube has dusted off its AdBlitz channel and fired it up for the tenth year in a row. By venturing over to AdBlitz, viewers can watch the top spots from the 2018 Big Game and can vote on their favorites.

Super Bowl advertisers have figured out that uploading their spots days before they air on TV can increase the amount of exposure those videos receive. Last year, for example, YouTube studied the top 20 most significant Super Bowl ads of the past nine years and determined that 90% of them arrived online before showing up on other screens. The result, YouTube said, was 440 million minutes of watchtime.

Therefore, though Super Bowl LII is still days away, the AdBlitz channel is already well-stocked, with dozens of videos to choose from. A Groupon ad featuring Tiffany Haddish, for example, has already reeled in more than four million YouTube hits. It features several common elements in Super Bowl commercials, including slapstick comedy, a celebrity appeal, and a reference to football.

Beyond featuring the commercials themselves, AdBlitz also offers teasers for upcoming ads (yes, really) and branded videos from across YouTube’s creative community.

No matter how you choose to watch Super Bowl ads (I personally prefer to leave their surprises unspoiled until I see them on TV), AdBlitz has the content you need. Check back there after the game and you’ll be able to “cheer” for the spots you liked the best, with YouTube highlighting the most popular choices. Spoiler alert: There will be a Budweiser commercial with a horse.
