Earlier in January, tech publication Recode announced its plan to team up with news channel MSNBC to launch an interview series in which they would ask notable tech figures how their industry with revolutionize the future of the global workforce. Now, the first episode of that series, which features YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, is available in its entirety on the NBC News YouTube channel.
The discussion between Wojcicki, Pichai, Recode co-founder Kara Swisher, and MSNBC’s Ari Melber mostly concerns big-picture ideas, so those hoping for updates on YouTube and Google’s policies may leave unsatisfied. That said, it is still relevant to watch as Pichai and Wojcicki dish on hot-button issues, including immigration, diversity, gender equality, and election fraud.

Recode’s interview series is the latest partnership between its parent company, Vox Media, and NBCUniversal. In 2015, the latter company invested $200 million in the former, a move that has led to several content partnerships.
