Yogscast’s 2017 Jingle Jam Tops Out At Record-Setting $5.2 Million

During its seventh-annual holiday season charity drive, The Yogscast nearly raised more money than all its other fundraising initiatives put together. The 2017 edition of the Yogscast Jingle Jam topped out at $5.2 million, bringing the online video network’s lifetime fundraising total to $11 million.

Recent iterations of Jingle Jam have been partnerships with Humble Bundle, which offers packages of acclaimed video games to backers who contribute at least $35 to a charity of their choice. To promote the campaign, the Yogscast team hosts gameplay sessions and other content across a network of more than 50 YouTube and Twitch channels. In 2017, 2.5 million people tuned into Yogscast’s Jingle Jam content, delivering a total of 6.8 million hours of watch time.

Charities that will benefit from the Yogscast’s massive 2017 raise include Save The Children and Grand Appeal, which were among seven organizations pre-selected by the Yogscast team as potential donation choices for Jingle Jam contributors. “It’s utterly mind-blowing and so much more than we had anticipated,” says Yogscast CEO Mark Turpin of the $5.2 million his  ompany raised during the 2017 holiday season, “but we couldn’t do it without the support of the developers and publishers who donate their games to the Bundle every year.”

With the latest Jingle Jam in the rearview mirror, the Yogscast team will return to its regularly-scheduled programming, which it delivers to one of the internet’s largest and most-engaged audiences. The primary Yogscast YouTube channel has more than 7.3 million subscribers and has received more than 3.7 billion views since its 2008 inception.
