Music Content Hub LiveXLive Launches Influencer Network Led By Social Star Amanda Cerny

Over the past few months, LiveXLive has landed several deals with social media influencers. With those agreements, it has linked up with several creators who initially found large audiences on the bygone app Vine. Now, one of those stars is now expanding the terms of her partnership with the music content platform. Amanda Cerny, an actress, model, and social media wizard with more than 17 million followers, has been named as head of LiveXLive’s new influencer division.

In her new role, Cerny will work with LiveXLive to find and partner with creators whose influence can help the music hub promote its fledgling platform. According to Variety, which first reported the news of Cerny’s new gig, LiveXLive’s latest collaborators include fitness guru Johannes Bartl and musician Katja Glieson.

These additions to the LiveXLive network will join a stacked roster that already includes Cerny, King Bach, and controversial lightning rod Jake Paul. Thanks to the efforts of these influencers, LiveXLive is attracting thousands of followers to its social channels. That will be a useful core audience when the platform rolls out the subscription video platform it plans to launch.

“Amanda, she’s a tsunami – she’s an influencer to the influencers, and she has the ability to bring in superstar young talent under her,” LiveXLive CEO Robert Ellin told Variety. “We are building a next-generation MTV, and as our company moves into subscription in the very near future…the biggest expense is subscriber acquisition costs.”

Beyond her deal with LiveXLive, Cerny will continue to be represented by CAA.
