Multi-talented YouTube star Anna Akana has shared her brand of comedy across multiple platforms, and now, her first effort in the literary world is ready to roll. She has authored a book of essays titled So Much I Want to Tell You: Letters to My Little Sister, which is now available on Amazon.
The title of Akana’s book carries a tragic connotation, as her little sister Kristina committed suicide a decade ago. Across several essays, Akana will discuss her own path to adulthood while offering advice to her millions of fans along the way. “This is Anna’s story, but, as she says, it belongs just as much to Kristina and to every other girl who must learn that growing up can be hard to do,” reads the Amazon description of the book. “Witty and real, Anna breaks things down in a way only a big sister can.”
As she is busy filming the second season of her digital series Miss 2059, Akana will be unable to support the launch of her essay collection with an immediate book tour. She will however, make an appearance at The Last Bookstore in Los Angeles on June 16th, at which she plans to perform and sign copies of her new book.

In a video introducing So Much I Want to Tell You, Akana explained that she spent a year-and-a-half working on her essays before publishing them through Penguin Random House. If you’d like to see how her completed product reads, a paperback copy of the book currently costs $11.30 on Amazon.
