Buzzy Vlogger Zane Hijazi Rents L.A. Billboard To Commemorate 100th Video

Vine star-turned-buzzy YouTube vlogger Zane Hijazi recently celebrated the explosive growth of his one-year-old channel in decidedly epic fashion.

Hijazi — who rose to fame on Vine via the Zane And Heath channel with his best friend Heath Hussar, and who today counts roughly 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube– commemorated his 100th vlog by renting a massive billboard in the heart of Los Angeles. The somewhat mysterious image on the billboard features no words and showcases Hijazi and a handful of his best friends and collaborators posing in matching black turtlenecks in a family portrait of sorts.

You can check out Hijazi’s 100th video, in which he reveals the billboard to his friends — including fellow creators Scotty Sire, David Dobrik, Hussar, Carly Incontro, Erin Gilfoy, Toddy Smith, Jason Nash, Matt King, Gabbie Hanna, Liza Koshy, Alex Ernst, Kristen Mcatee, and Christine Sydelko — right here:

“We’re too brand-unfriendly for anyone to want to put us on a billboard, so we just did it ourselves,” Hijazi wrote on Instagram. “Thank you all so much for giving me the opportunity to do what I love everyday,” he tweeted in thanks to his fans. “Can’t wait to show this to my landlord when she asks where my rent money is for this month.”

Hijazi’s channel comprises pranks, sketches, improv, and absurdist commentary, and he has collaborated with the likes of Lil Dicky, Haley Joel Osment, and Marlon Wayans. He has also pursued scripted projects, including appearances on Crypt TV’s Lab Coats, the Comedy.com‘s Cringeworthy series, and the road trip feature film FML, which also stars Busy Philipps and Jason Nash.
