Action Sports Network XTreme Video Announces Two Shows For Specialty TV Channels

A network that works with a variety of creators in the extreme sports world is reaching the small screen through a pair of specialty channels. At MPITV, XTreme Video discussed two shows, MTB Insights and Inside the Masters of Dirt, which will air on Outside TV and Insight TV, respectively.

MTB Insights, which discusses the risky, adrenaline-pumping world of mountain biking, is filmed by an XTreme Video partner named RYYS. After initially premiering through Xtreme Video on YouTube, the show’s second season came to TV via Outside, which reaches millions through vacation resort markets. The first episode of MTB Insights to air on the small screen arrived in the United States on March 13th.

Inside the Masters of Dirt focuses on its titular group, which entertains its fans with high-flying freestyle motocross shows. The docu-series about Masters of Dirt’s exploits will reach an international audience through Insight TV, which spotlights engaging content shot in high definition. It will premiere on April 22nd.

“XTreme Video sees great potential in the originality and resourcefulness of our network of digital creators and we want to translate this social media success into returns for broadcasters,” said Gregg Bywalski, CEO of XTreme Video, in a press release. “The extreme sports community has grown exponentially in recent years because of the high-quality content produced as well as the sheer spectacle of these stunts and performances, especially when they’re in 4K formats. It’s time for the broadcast world to embrace them.”

XTreme Video was founded in the 90s as a company that collected VHS footage from the extreme sports world. It is part of XtremEnterprise, which has 15 offices worldwide.
