Entries are accepted across a wide variety of categories residing in the big vertical buckets of Websites, Film & Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Mobile Sites & Apps, Social and—new this year—Podcasts & Digital Audio. So, no matter what you’re working on, The Webbys has a category suited to you.
In addition to giving you and your team the chance to get recognized for your hard work, entering The Webbys is also your chance to join an elite group of past winners—like the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer, NFB Canada, National Corndog Day, and way more.

And yes, you read that right. The Webbys is the only place where National Corndog Day and Netflix can be honored on the same stage. Online, even small-scale developers, artists, activists, and web personalities have a huge impact. All entered work is reviewed by The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS), a group of Internet luminaries, innovators, and creators, including people like the Kevin Spacey, Jimmy Kimmel, Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Opal Tometi, Vice CEO and Founder Shane Smith, and many more. Plus, to review the new Podcasts & Digital Audio category, The Webbys has brought on a roster of impressive new judges in that realm, including On The Media’s Brooke Gladstone, Gimlet Media CEO and Founder Alex Blumberg, and Radiotopia’s Julie Shapiro.
