It’s another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and a toddler is still in the top spot.

Chart Toppers

Ryan ToysReview held onto its first-place position on the U.S. chart for the sixteenth week in a row. The charming four-year-old’s library of unboxing videos and playtime footage dipped 37%, but still took home almost 114.2 million views. In second place is Disney Cars Toy Club DCTC. Claymation shorts featuring superheroes and Disney princesses pushed the channel up 60% in views to top out at over 93.3 million on the week.

Next up in in the #3 spot is Chainsmokers. The DJ duo’s latest smash hit “Closer” is still pulling in views, helping its channel receive a view count to the tune of almost 65.7 million during the week. Ariana Grande is up next in fourth place. The 23-year-old pop star closed out the week with more than 61.6 million views.

And rounding out the Top 5 is Justin Bieber. The 22-year-old pop star’s YouTube library racked up almost 60.8 million views in the week.

Top Gainers

The honor of one of our Top Gainers this week goes to Disney Cars Toy Club DCTC.

In a week with a ton of channel’s seeing losses (perhaps due to something going on with the various machinations of YouTube), DCTC had a standout week in the U.S. (and around the world, too). The toy-unboxing-channel-turned-visually-appealing-claymation-producer-and-family-vlog was particularly popular this week thanks to a single upload. In the 16-minute “Bloody Hulk Superhero Prank Goes Wrong,” Disney, Marvel, and DC stars made out of Play-Doh act a little wacky with one another and a pair of human hands. The upload struck a never with audiences, amassing an eight-figure view count and helping the channel to a 60% week-over-week increase in views, more than 93.3 million views on the week, and the #2 spot on the U.S. chart.

The top 50 most viewed U.S. YouTube channels this week amassed a total of 1,919,643,221 views. Here’s the distribution of a few of those channels by multi-channel network:

VEVO: 16 channels in the U.S. Top 50, with Chainsmokers the top-ranked channel of the network at #3.
BroadbandTV, BuzzFeed, Movieclips, Studio71, WMG: 2 channels each in the Top 50, with BBTV’s WorldStarHipHip at #17, BuzzFeed’s BuzzFeed Yellow at #37, Movieclips’ Movieclips at #30, Studio71’s FamilyFunPack at #13, and WMG’s Fueled By Ramen at #12.
