From starting out at age 13 performing on Santa Monicas Third Street Promenade to honing a YouTube music channel with more than 3.6 million subscribers, the singer Alex Aiono has now signed with 2btube, a fast-growing digital talent network focused on Spanish-speaking creators worldwide and dedicated to producing Spanish content for millennials.
Twenty-year-old Aiono has more than 6.4 million fans across all social platforms and has amassed over 340 million lifetime views on his channel thanks to blockbuster cover videos featuring songs by the likes of Drake (below) and Charlie Puth. Aiono also stars in the hit AwesomenessTV branded series Royal Crush, a romantic comedy sponsored by global cruise company Royal Caribbean that’s currently in its fourth season.

2btube, which says it’s the fastest growing MCN in the world, will be in charge of managing and growing Aiono’s YouTube channel as well as marketing his personal brand in Spanish-speaking territories, which comprise roughly 500 million prospective viewers. “We will also enable Alex to connect more closely with his European audiences through branded content, participation in movies, sponsorships, book publishing, and other innovative opportunities,” said 2btube president Bastian Manintveld in a statement.
Aiono is working on original music with a soon-to-be-announced label partner for a 2017 release and recently launched a Pledge campaign to promote his upcoming album. He is also a frequent on-air host and personality for Radio Disney.
2btube, which has offices in Madrid, Miami, and Mexico City, also hosts a summer camp that teaches teens how to be YouTube stars.
