It’s another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and a toddler is still on top.

Chart Toppers

Ryan ToysReview held onto its first-place position on the U.S. chart for the twelfth week in a row. Titular Ryan’s repository of videos featuring his playtime footage and toy unboxing skills was down 1% in its weekly views to bottom out at a still very impressive nearly 153. 7 million views. In a far off second place is Toy Freaks. The heightened version of a normal family vlog channel was dropped 8% to take home more than 104.5 million views throughout the week.

Up to the #3 spot is Chainsmokers. The DJ duo’s latest hit “Closer” is still getting plays, helping their channel to more than 99.7 million views during the week. Next up in fourth place is WWE. World Wrestling Entertainment’s home on YouTube lost 5% of its weekly view count, but still slammed down over 98.1 million views in the week.

And rounding out the Top 5 is Toy Scouter. The channel featuring videos with adults dressing up in a variety of Disney and superhero costumes to act out mundane and oddball scenarios dropped 8% in views to take home just about 96.8 million views on the week.

Top Gainers

The honor of one of our Top Gainers this week goes to Epic Rap Battles of History.

ERB snuck into the Top 50 thanks to its first upload in the past three months and its second iteration in what’s becoming a quadrennial tradition. “Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton” dropped on October 26, 2016 and the four-minute-or-so smack talk showdown between the two 2016 presidential candidates quickly scored an eight-figure view count (which is great, but not quite the nine-figure view count of “Barack Obama vs Mitt Romney” that dropped during the 2012 election – at least not yet). The video helped the Epic Rap Battles of History channel to a 476% week-over-week increase in views, more than 30.7 million views on the week, and the #50 spot on the U.S. chart.

The top 50 most viewed U.S. YouTube channels this week amassed a total of 2,681,594,659 views. Here’s the distribution of a few of those channels by multi-channel network:

VEVO: 15 channels in the U.S. Top 50, with Chainsmokers the top-ranked channel of the network at #3.
Studio71: 3 channels in the Top 50, with FamilyFunPack at #9.
BroadbandTV, BuzzFeed, Maker Studios, Movieclips, NBCU, WMG: 2 channels each in the Top 50, with BBTV’s WorldStarHipHop at #35, BuzzFeed’s BuzzFeed Yellow at #15, Maker’s Markiplier at # 23, Movieclips’ Movieclips at #24, NBCU’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at #39, and WMG’s Fueled By Ramen at #12.
