Description: With winter approaching, it’s time to let it snow. 10,000 Days, a post-apocalyptic web series set during a new ice age, takes place 10,000 days (that’s a little more than 27 years) after a cataclysmic comet strike sends the Earth spiraling into ruin.
I first heard about 10,000 Days in 2012, when creator Eric Small released the first season of his show. In his first tour around the wintry landscape he created, Small painted a picture of two warring families battling each other for control. Thrilling action sequence balanced out an intricate plot full of dialogue.
Now, 10,000 Days is back, and Small has a big vision for his second season. He plans to introduce new characters, and he has shared some intense-looking concept art for scenes he plans to film. Here’s the dish, straight from Small himself:
Creator Bio: Small, who initially planned 10,000 Days as a feature film, has experience in the traditional media world. He was one of the executive producers of Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, which ran for eight seasons on Showtime.

Why You Should Fund It: When I first wrote about 10,000 Days, I complemented the show’s cool, ambitious design, which Small was able to pull off despite working with a small budget. Here, he’s going for something bigger, and he seems to be bringing an immense vision to the table, one that matches the budget he is hoping to receive. Between its intricate characters, its carefully fleshed-out world, and its engaging story, 10,000 Days is a web series that has a lot to offer.
