Epoxy’s New Sharing Studio Offers Creators Vine, GIF Capabilities

Epoxy has made a lot of progress in the world of online video since it launched in May 2014 (and raked in $6.5 million in funding). Now, the video analytics and sharing platform has added a new feature called Sharing Studio, which lets video creators make and share content like Vines and animated GIFs.

Epoxy’s subscription-based analytics service currently offers video creators the ability to streamline their video sharing and maximize on their social media accounts outside of YouTube. The company’s service quickly expanded by partnering with notable MCNs like Maker Studios, Fullscreen, AwesomenessTV, Whistle Sports, GTChannel, and DanceOn Network.

The Epoxy Sharing Studio is an addition to this video analytics and sharing platform. The new Studio tools let YouTubers make GIFs, memes, Vine-length clips, and even regular stills or screenshots from their videos. Creators can then share these images or shorter videos across their integrated social media accounts.

The idea for Sharing Studio was born when Epoxy noticed a high demand from video creators for secondary content related to their channels and videos. And while creators can use GIF creation tools like GIF YouTube (or even YouTube’s own tool, which is available to select users), video creators still had no easy, all-in-one location to make a variety of short content and then distribute it across all their social accounts.

“We noticed with each video launch top creators are making a multi-mix of 6-12 additional assets to share with fans across platforms,” explained Juan Bruce, co-founder and CEO at Epoxy, in a release. “Sometimes a GIF or a Vine will trend faster than the video it came from. We’re giving creators more ways to share and combining it with the multi-platform distribution, engagement and measurement serious creators need to fully monetize.”

And so far, it seems like Epoxy’s partners love the Sharing Studio addition. GTChannel CEO and founder Scott Schlichter called the Studio a “quiver of arrows to attack today’s marketing challenges with one pull of the bow.” Brian Selander, EVP at The Whistle, also sang praises for Epoxy’s Sharing Studio.
