SourceFed has a special event you may want to check out if you have no Friday night plans. The YouTube channel that covers the news in its own witty way will bring its team on stage at YouTube Space LA for the live-streamed SourceFed Live performance on February 27, 2015.
The SourceFed team will be doing various sketches and variety pieces for both the in-person attendees and viewers watching from home. While tickets for the event were handed out to fans via Twitter over the previous week, the news-based YouTube channel will also broadcast the entire performance. The SourceFed Live show starts at 5 PM PST/8 PM EST.
SourceFed is one of many YouTube channels to make the jump from the digital world to “IRL” live events. Earlier this month, Austin-based entertainment studio Rooster Teeth (which now counts ex-SourceFed host Meg Turney as a member of its family) hosted, Let’s Play Live, an in-person event featuring its Achievement Hunter team. Tonight’s SourceFed variety show also isn’t the first time the news channel has done a live event. Back in May 2013, it hosted a real-time version of its #TableTalk series for YouTube Comedy Week.
