In hopes of furthering their respective careers, seven creators best known for their work on YouTube have joined the ranks of one of Hollywood’s premier talent agencies. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, online content creators Lohanthony, HolaSoyGerman, Bart Baker, CaptainSparklez, Veritasium, MakeUpByCamila, and Laci Green have all signed with WME.
The seven new additions to WME’s talent network represent a mixed bag. Lohanthony (real name Anthony Quintal) is known for his gossipy brand of social media, Baker is a parodist who mocks popular music videos, CaptainSparklez (real name Jordan Maron) is one of YouTube’s top gamers, Green is a sex-ed expert who recently launched a new channel alongside MTV, and Veritasium is an educational channel hosted by Derek Muller.
The other two members of WME’s latest crop are international stars. MakeUpbyCamila (real name Camila Coelho) is a Brazilian makeup expert who shares tutorials with a bilingual audience, while HolaSoyGerman (real name German Garmendia) is a Chilean comedian. Garmendia’s 21 million subscribers make him the second-most subscribed YouTuber, trailing only PewDiePie. THR’s report notes he is interesting in “crossing over” to English-speaking audiences.

THR didn’t share any of WME’s specific plans for its newest clients, but it will likely work with each of the seven content creators to pursue opportunities across multiple platforms. Other YouTube personalities who are partnered with the top talent agency include Grace Helbig, The Fine Bros, and Geek & Sundry founder Felicia Day.
