Viral Spiral And Rightster Team Up For Digital Yoga Network

A pair of British companies focused around the YouTube space are teaming up to help viewers get fit. Digital marketing agency Viral Spiral, brand-focused multi-channel network Rightster, and yoga management company YAMA Talent have teamed up for the Digital Yoga Network, a one-stop digital location for all things yoga.

DYN will attempt to capture the booming yoga audience by featuring a variety of videos from talented instructors. As the success of Blogilates has shown, there is a place on the Internet for fun, interactive, and positive workout videos, which DYN looks to provide in spades. Launch partners of the new network include Ekhart Yoga, Sadie Nardini, Meghan Currie and Patrick Beach, with most videos hosted on these creators’ respective channels. Meanwhile, on the main DYN channel, a recent video explains all of the network’s services:

“The online video industry is maturing and the key to that maturity is the increase in ad supported and funded content,” said Daniel Fisher, COO of Viral Spiral. “Our relationship with YAMA Talent and Rightster enables us to bring advertisers and brands the best of premium yoga and Lifestyle content, which appeals to a much sought after demographic. We look forward to working with YAMA Talent, its creators and brands looking to interact with yoga viewers and practioners and Rightster’s experienced technology team.”

DYN’s target is the female 18-44 demographic, which has helped make yoga a multi-billion dollar industry. With Viral Spiral and Rightster’s help, that industry will expand more broadly to the Internet and will show that watching videos doesn’t have to be a passive experience.
