‘Fast And Furious’ YouTube Channel Remembers Paul Walker

Actor Paul Walker, who passed away after a Thanksgiving weekend car crash, acted in more than 30 films in his career. To most fans, however, he will be entirely remembered for his roles in five of the six Fast and Furious movies, where he played undercover cop and street racer Brian O’Conner.

Walker’s pretty boy charm and charisma helped Fast and Furious become the cash cow it is today, and the film series’ YouTube channel has responded to his death by posting a heartwarming video celebrating his work in the series.

The tribute manages to pull together a lot of touching quotes from the films about brotherhood and togetherness, which begin to hit home when you think about how much of his life Walker spent on Fast and Furious film sets. The first film in the series was released in 2001, which means that Walker spent almost a decade and a half hanging around his cast members, the series’ crew, and all of those sexy cars.

While so many films using official channels for all manner of marketing campaigns, the tribute to Walker feels like a refreshing and sad expression of heartfelt emotion that will allow fans to relive Walker’s best moments on YouTube whenever they miss him.

Walker would’ve starred in the series’ seventh installment had his life not been tragically cut short. That film has now been put on hold, and while it’s unfortunate that fans won’t get one more chance to experience Walker’s work as O’Conner, the remembrance video does an honest job of summing up the actor’s legacy.
