YouTube’s Third ‘Lab’ Will Invite Musicians To LA Creator Space

After the beauty gurus and the geeks had their turns, the musicians are invading YouTube’s LA creator space. The top video sharing site is currently accepting applications for the YouTube Music Lab, where a collection of talented artists will work together, attend workshops, and take advantage of YouTube’s first-rate production facilities.

As with the two previous labs, each creator invited to the musical conference will be required to produce a certain number of videos based on his or her time. In this case, each creator chosen to participate will be responsible for four videos, which must be conceptualized, shot, and edited  in less than two months. Without a doubt, YouTube wants its overworked musicians to team up and work together on getting all the videos done.

Music Lab will begin on October 4, and the rest of the month will be filled with workshops, orientation events, and training seminars. Filming must be completed by Halloween, but participating creators will have access to the YouTube creator space for the next month, where it will serve as their collective post-production headquarters.
