Big Frame Gets Charitable With Network-Wide Rally.org Campaigns

iJustine and Destorm aren’t the only YouTube creators currently throwing their support behind charitable causes. The entire Big Frame network has teamed up with crowdfunding site Rally.org for a series of charity fundraisers.

Big Frame’s creators are concurrently launching six separate Rally campaigns, each of which hopes to raise money for a separate organization. Each campaign makes use of Rally’s interface, which combines Kickstarter-esque crowdfunding with all sorts of charitable causes. “We’re thrilled to partner with Big Frame in this mashup for good, charting new ground in online fundraising,” said Rally CEO Tom Serres. “We think the alliance of two great brands will inspire additional content creators to produce more YouTube videos for what matters.”

Among the participants is Big Frame’s most popular creator, MysteryGuitarMan, who is rallying his fans behind Medic Mobile.

Other members of the Big Frame community (which has tallied 3.2 billion views to date) involved in the Rally partnership include the women of Wonderly, BrizzyVoices, AuParis, ELizzieBooks, and LGBT creators DavidouttMikey The PlatypusPJ Scott-BlankenshipHanksterchen, and ElloSteph. “Giving back is part of Big Frame’s DNA,” said Sarah Penna, the network’s co-founder. “We already have seen great success with this type of endeavor on Rally.org, with OverlyAttachedGirlfriend’s $23K raise for SurfCamp. We’re excited to pair our creators with Rally.org in a more permanent fashion by leveraging their influence for good.”

With Kickstarter as hot as it is, it would be nice to see Rally receive some crowdfunding attention as well. Big Frame’s millions of fans have the donating power to make it happen.
