Jack White Live in ‘Unstaged’ Streaming Concert by Gary Oldman

Jack White released his first solo album (dubbed Blunderbuss) on Tuesday, April 24. On Friday, April 29, he’ll play his first concert since releasing his first solo album. That concert will be directed by Academy and Emmy Award-nominated actor and filmmaker Gary Oldman (who knows his way around a rock star and a music video). That concert will also be the first installment in the third season of Unstaged, the only live streaming, online original, music video series brought you by American Express, Vevo, and YouTube.

The kickoff show of the solo tour of the former White Stripe is scheduled to start at 9PM ET / 6PM PT, but if you can’t make it out to New York City’s Webster Hall or didn’t swing a ticket (because you left home without it?), Vevo and YouTube will be streaming all the Oldman-orchestrated action online.

Previous Unstaged acts to appear simultaneously live and on the internet thanks to Amex, Vevo, and YouTube include, but are not limited to Arcade Fire directed by Terry Gilliam, Duran Duran taking cues from David Lynch, and Coldplay receiving notes from Anton Corbijn.

The videos of the aforementioned acts and the handful of other musicians that fill out the first two seasons of Unstaged have been viewed a collective 70+ million times. The third season of the popular program kicks off a larger programming slate of online originals recently announced by Vevo.
