  • The Awesomes, an animated series about comically flawed superheroes, from Saturday Night Live star Seth Meyers and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon producer Michael Shoemaker
  • Don’t Quit Your Daydream, a series about struggling musicians, from Entourage star Adrian Grenier
  • We Got Next, a comedy based on friendships made on the basketball court from Kenya Barris from Are We There Yet?, Hale Rothstein from Everybody Hates Chris, and Danny Leiner from The Office

Hulu is adding these shows to its growing list of original programming, which includes the drama Battleground, Morgan Spurlock‘s A Day in the Life, and Up to Speed. After YouTube made a sizeable investment in premium content last fall, online video platforms followed suit, including Hulu which announced a $500 million commitment to original programming.

The Digital Content NewFronts, an organized series of upfront-like events from digital media companies like Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo!, and YouTube, began with Hulu today and will wrap up with YouTube on May 2.
