Luis Sinco, a photojournalist for the Los Angeles Times, documented the marines assault on Fallouja in November, 2004. While capturing the conflict, he took this photograph of Marine Lance Corporal James Blake Miller that became an “icon of the Iraq War.”

In this wrenching piece on MediaStorm (Tilzy.TV Page), shot by Sinco, scored and narrated by Miller, we sense the haunting pain from the horror of war, and the bond its formed between two very different people.
