Comedy Central's InDecision 2008

In 1992, one of the great political creations since democracy and Gallup polls was invented: Comedy Central’s InDecision. When Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show” came four years later, the lighthearted election coverage (or as the new website informs us: “something approximating election news with something approximating honesty”) became an iconic success.

And with early election coverage this year also comes the InDecision2008 website’s premature birth. Featuring videos, blogs, polls, and what seems like more than enough widgets on one page needed to cause epilepsy, the site still feels like it launched sooner than it planned on launching.

But we’re here to talk about the video content and the video content is awesome. The site doesn’t hold any original videos, but an entire archive of clips from “The Daily Show,” “Colbert Report,” and new animated series “Lil’ Bush” is pretty satisfying nonetheless. Check it out.
