Although there were 20 entries in this round of Vlog Deathmatch, the competition where vloggers are given a prompt and they battle it out to take home titles like Vlog Deathmatch Air Guitar Champion (which is probably better than a Webby, all things considered), the competition is slim picking. (I mean, what is this? Come on, Wreck & Salvage.)
The prompt for this battle was: make the most awesome music video. It’s a pretty broad category that should have gotten some better submissions than this. So far, I’m torn between Irina Slutsky (Geek Entertainment TV, see above) and the submission from The Burg: “Internet killed the TV Star.”
While Irina’s features some hilarious (and original) battle rap, The Burg makes some good use of social commentary. See for yourself and start voting on Vlog Deathmatch.
