Comedy Central and partner AtomFilms announced their second annual Comedy Central Test Pilot contest today, giving content producers the chance to make a series pilot lasting one to five minutes. The winner will receive $5,000 and the chance to continue development for the network’s “Web Shows” and the network site’s Motherload player.
Submissions can be sent or uploaded between June 1 and July 10. Several videos will be featured on the site before a team of discerning executives from both sponsoring companies will handpick the four finalists. On July 24, online viewers will rate their favorite among the four, crowning the winner and new content producer for Comedy Central on August 3.
So read the rules, piece together an episode, get it polished, and submit it to Comedy Central on June 1.
